Valerie Kennedy, LMT

Licensed under the Virginia Board of Nursing, licensed to practice as a Massage Therapist in the state of Virginia. Prior work experiences include: 13 years practicing as a licensed physical therapy assistant and 18 years practicing as a licensed Occupational Therapist. My background has allowed me opportunities to work in a variety of both medical and educational settings, but I always gravitate toward manual techniques to enhance the quality of life! We only have one life, we should feel good and have FUN!!! I continue to enhance my skills through varied experiences and quality continuing education.  I have taken coursework in medical massage, myofascial release, integrative reflexology and craniosacral therapy.  I also believe in self management techniques to enhance our health and comfort - ask me what tricks I've learned over the years - I love to explore possible solutions and hear about suggestions that have been beneficial for my clients.
